Allan Taylor (born in Brighton on 30 September 1945) is an English singer-songwriter who has written and performed music around the world for over 50 years. Taylor began his career in the folk clubs in the Brighton area when he was 17 years old influenced by Davey Graham. After supporting Fairport Convention at London's Royal Albert Hall in 1970 he came to the attention of Liberty Records who signed him up. His debut album "Sometimes" was recorded in Techniques Studio in Chelsea (Fairport Convention and Nick Drake also recorded there).
