Alkuperä is a screamo/post-hardcore band from Bilbao, Spain, formed in 2024. The group brings together veterans of the DIY scene with more than 25 years of experience, having played in bands such as Diana Lagarto, Inserta, Drei Affen, Elfo Negro, 1991, Neila, Despeñaperros and Represión. The lineup features Caba (vocals), Iker (bass), Óscar (guitars) and Alberto (drums). Their music blends raw screamo intensity with dark post-hardcore atmospheres and crushing noise, shifting between furious outbursts and expansive, heavy passages.
