AK Akemi Kakihara, Universal Music Recording Artist, singer-songwriter, producer, musician. Born and raised in Japan. Living in New York City since 2001, where she has worked with Grammy winner Mastering Engineer Tom Coyne, Mix Engineer Kevin “KD” Davis (Rihanna, Beyonce), and legendary DJs, such as Danny Krivit and Francois K. She has released over 200 songs across her 15 original albums, those of which she has written and produced for herself as well as for various artists.
