Eclectic musicians bring individual influences to a sound evolved from folk, world, blues, psychedelia into a distinctively warm and groovy rock ensemble. A true band vibe that lies firmly with the 60s spirit of free music, sounding only like themselves, yet with comparisons made to Little Feat, The Faces and Fleetwood Mac: similarities lying in group buzz on stage and a wave goodbye to neat boxes. Corralling some of Scotland's best players, this six-piece have the talent to roam beyond the prescribed pentatonic box ... the title track (to Double Measures) is a winningly wonky gypsy-jazz lurch.
