Tanhai Collective

Tanhai Collective is a six piece instrumental outfit draw from jazz funk, post bop and the jazzier end of post rock. Their groove heavy and melodic music utilises 70’s production and recording techniques for explosive, groovy and dubbed out tracks. After winning the 2021 Emerging Artist Competition judged by Norman Jay MBE resulting in them performing at Cross the Tracks they released their debut EP ‘The Tanifesto’; laying the groundwork for a solid modern jazz sound.
