Melissa Mars is an atypical, multifaceted performer and individual, engaged in everything from singing, writing, composing music and lyrics, photography and film-directing to theater and film actress and model. Her musical career took off in 2003 with Papa M’aime Pas (Papa Doesn’t Love Me), a single with oedipal undertones that appears on her first album released by Polydor-Universal Records, and unveiled her dark, alluring and mysterious universe.
