There are multiple bands with this name: 1. An American folk duo 2. An American punk band 1. Going Home was a Californian folk duo formed by Hope Sandoval and Sylvia Gomez in the mid-1980s. The pair recorded an album with Sandoval's future Mazzy Star bandmate Dave Roback, but the recordings were never officially released. One of the duo's songs, Give You My Lovin', was later recorded by Mazzy Star and released on the band's debut album She Hangs Brightly.
