Bernardino Lupacchino, properly Bernardino Carnefresca detto Lupacchino dal Vasto, was a mid-sixteenth-century Italian priest-composer associated with Vasto and later with San Giovanni in Laterano in Rome. His surviving profile is centred on Venetian print culture: four-voice madrigal books in the 1540s, the 1547 Gardano Il primo libro di madrigali a cinque voci, and the exceptionally durable two-voice collection with Giovanni Maria Tasso, known from later Venetian reprints including the 1559 Gardano and 1560 Scotto witnesses.
