O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
Originally opened in 1903 as a variety theatre designed by architect Frank Matcham, the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire spent decades as a BBC television studio before reopening as a live music venue in 1994. The Grade II-listed building retains its ornate Edwardian interior, including balconies and red-velvet seating. It programs a wide range of genres including rock, pop, indie, metal, hip hop, and folk, and is a regular stop on major UK tours.
