Islington Assembly Hall
Islington Assembly Hall is a Grade II listed Art Deco building on Upper Street, originally opened in 1930 as a community hub before closing in the 1980s. A council-funded restoration brought it back as a live music venue in March 2010. The 950-capacity space programs indie, electronic, soul, rock, alternative, and pop, and is noted for its acoustics, raised stage, and preserved original interior features including decorative panels and balcony ashtrays.
