Birmingham Flapper
1 upcoming concert
The Flapper sits on the banks of the Cambrian Wharf canal on James Brindley Walk, making it one of Birmingham's most distinctively located independent music venues. Originally built in the late 1960s as The Longboat, it became a live music venue in the 1980s and took its current name in 2007. NME dubbed it the epicentre of Birmingham's indie scene, and it is closely associated with alternative, rock, and punk music.
