Belly Up

Founded in 1974 and housed in a Quonset hut-style building on Cedros Avenue in Solana Beach, the Belly Up is one of the San Diego region's most recognized independent live music venues. Its intimate layout keeps every audience member within 50 feet of the stage, and a giant papier-mache shark suspended over the concert hall is a signature interior detail. Rolling Stone named it one of the hottest live music clubs on the West Coast.
