Ames Center

Ames Center is a performing arts venue in Minneapolis that opened in January 2009, previously known as the Burnsville Performing Arts Center. It operates two performance spaces: a main proscenium stage seating 1,014 and a black box theater seating 150. Programming spans theater, dance, comedy, concerts, and spoken word, drawing both local arts organizations and national touring artists. A two-story glass lobby overlooks a park and river valley.
