Pustervik
Pustervik, located in Göteborg, Sweden, features two distinct performance spaces. Its "Stora Scenen" (Large Stage) can accommodate 900 people standing, while a smaller stage within the restaurant area has a capacity of 300. The venue, which reopened in its current form in April 2012 after extensive renovations, now serves as a primary concert space. It operates as a concert venue, nightclub, and bar, presenting a diverse array of live music from local and international artists, alongside cultural festivals and themed nightclub events. Pustervik has a history dating back to the 1920s, initially functioning as a cinema, then a theater, before transitioning to its current multifaceted role. It is recognized as a cultural hub in Gothenburg's Haga district, known for its intimate setting that fosters a personal connection between performers and audiences. The 2012 renovation specifically aimed to create a concert venue with unusual openness and intimacy for its size, striving to be one of Sweden's most important live music stages.
