Katedra św. Marii Magdaleny in Wroclaw is a Gothic church that doubles as a concert venue, prized for its genial acoustics. Originally a 13th-century Romanesque church rebuilt in Brick Gothic style after a 1342 fire, it became the first Lutheran church in Wroclaw in 1523 and now serves as the cathedral of the Polish Catholic Church. Its twin towers are connected by the Witches' Bridge at 45 meters, accessible via 247 steps. The interior houses a 12th-century Romanesque portal from Ołbin, considered the finest in Poland, along with a Gothic sacramentarium and 15th-century epitaphs.
