Strong Island Recordings Presents: Baby Vanga + Dad Hair at Casemates

On 21 August, Strong Island Recordings head to the forest fort of Casemates, as we bring label family Baby Vanga and their Babe Rainbow-esque psychedelic freak-out. Support comes from the krautrock meets post-punk cauldron Dad Hair. The event is all-ages and takes place just outside the forest of Hilsea in the Casemates Rehearsal space, which offers a number of local craft beers as well as lagers, spirits, coffee, food and other bits including records. Please bring I.D if you’re purchasing alcohol. The outside area of Casemates is rather lovely though, as it backs off of Foxes Forest, so we’re very excited to be able to host our first outing, post-lockdown in one of our favourite areas of the city. The event will be finishing just after 21.30 (BST). There is a bus stop half-a-mile from the venue that goes into the city centre and off of the island, and both Cosham and Hilsea railway stations are about a 15-minute walk.
