In Green Hollow - Family Concert
In Green Hollow is a collaborative project between the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, the National Gallery of Iceland, and the Reykjavík Botanical Garden. There, folklore, music, art and nature all meet. We’ll embark on a seasonal journey where the music awakens us to spring and the artworks play with the joy of summer colours, flutter with the leaves of autumn, and fall into the deep sleep of winter. Ólafur Egill Egilsson is the narrator of this charming and educational family concert, leading concertgoers through the spectrum of the seasons as music and botany combine with the visual arts that will be projected during the concert. This is a family concert, tailored to young audiences, and the concert lasts about one hour without intermission.
