A full day celebrating the Mod scene from 1979 through to the modern world, with 2 stages, live bands, acoustic sets, DJs, stalls, visuals, scooter displays, exhibitions, food and more. Performing live From The JamA powerhouse live celebration of the songs of The Jam, bringing the energy, fire and skill of one of the defining bands of the Mod era. Purple HeartsOriginal 1979 Mod Revival favourites, known for anthems including Millions Like Us, Jimmy and Frustration. The CirclesWolverhampton's original 1979 Mod band, returning with a full band set featuring fan favourites including Opening Up, Billy and Summer Nights. The KillermetersBack by popular demand after a storming debut at Midland Mods Mayday 2026. The ModsOriginal Mod Revival band featured on the Mods Mayday album, performing tracks including Let Me Be The One, Tonight Is the Night and Love Only Me. The HornetsAn exciting young band bringing their own R&B-influenced sound to the modern Mod scene. The Electric StarsManchester-based high-octane psychedelic rock'n'roll with a heavy 60s influence. Ocean Cover SceneA tribute to Birmingham's most famous Mod scene sons, Ocean Colour Scene. The TroubleA recently formed London band mixing 60s girl group energy, garage psych and rock'n'roll. The TwoA stripped-back acoustic set from Dante and Max. Cian DowningReturning to Midland Mods Mayday with an acoustic set of original material and selected covers. TurnerSalford-based Louise Turner brings soulful vocals and an exclusive acoustic set to Midland Mods Mayday. JodieYorkshire-based soul singer bringing a 60s-inspired soulful sound. Noah McBrideA young emerging artist already making waves on the scene with guitar-driven songs inspired by the new generation of Mod-influenced bands. DJs DJ Jacqui CarrollDJ Alan MayDJ Hitzville ChalkyDJ Mez Stalls and more There will also be pop-up stores from clothing brands, record sellers and more, plus big screen visuals, scooter displays, special guests, exhibitions, hot food stalls and more to be announced. The 2026 event sold out well in advance, and with the 2027 line-up confirmed, this is expected to move quickly. The Crossing is in central Birmingham, close to Birmingham New Street, Moor Street and the National Express Coach Station, with a wide range of hotels within walking distance.
