The Jazz Cafe
The Jazz Cafe opened in 1990 in Camden Town, occupying a building that was formerly a Barclays Bank, and has operated as a live music venue ever since. The Columbo Group acquired it in January 2016, overseeing a refurbishment that included technical upgrades and a revamped food and drink menu while preserving the venue's character. Programming spans jazz, hip hop, soul, funk, R&B, blues, world music, reggae, and Latin, with live gigs running seven nights a week and club nights on Fridays and Saturdays. A mezzanine restaurant overlooking the stage is a defining feature, and the venue also curates the Jazz Cafe Festival, a day festival held in Burgess Park.
