The Grace
The Grace is a live music venue in Islington, North London, directly opposite Highbury & Islington tube station. Launched by DHP Family, it officially opened on September 13, 2019. The venue occupies a two-floor space: a laid-back pub on the ground floor and a dedicated upstairs music room with a capacity of 150. The upstairs space is illuminated by over 50 disco balls and offers crisp sound, excellent sightlines, and a high-energy atmosphere that puts fans just steps from the stage. The Grace programs a variety of events including performances by rising indie bands, alt-pop artists, and singer-songwriters, as well as late-night club takeovers, acoustic sets, and stand-up comedy. It is recognized as one of the few late-night bars in the area offering live music. Architecturally, the venue is housed in a space that originally operated as Upstairs At The Garage, a location with notable music pedigree. The Grace aims to continue the tradition of London's landmark live music pubs and functions as a community hub in North London, building its reputation on live programming shaped by emerging and touring acts.
