02 Institute Birmingham

Housed in a former Methodist congregational chapel built in 1908, the O2 Institute Birmingham is a multi-room live music venue in the Digbeth district. The building retains its original chapel architecture, with a red brick and grey terracotta exterior and ornate interior detailing. Its four rooms range from the 1,500-capacity main auditorium to the cellar-level Un-Plug space, covering pop, rock, and electronic music alongside a longstanding connection to drum and bass and club culture.
