LA LAITERIE opened in 1994 inside a former industrial dairy that supplied Strasbourg since 1915, and the building's origins remain visible in the column hall through preserved tank supports and a cream separator. Managed by Artefact PRL since its founding, the venue programs a broad range of genres including rock, metal, reggae, rap, jazz, and electronic music, and hosts two annual festivals: the Festival des Artefacts and the Nuits Electroniques de l'Ososphere.
