Bi Nuu
Bi Nuu is a live music venue and event space built directly into the Schlesisches Tor U-Bahnhof in Berlin's Kreuzberg district, a former department store and café that opened as a club in March 2012. Named after the third album by Berlin band Ideal, it is managed by the Festsaal Kreuzberg team and known for its industrial-chic design with high ceilings and arched windows, set beneath the elevated railway tracks. The venue's subterranean location gives it a raw, underground atmosphere, but the rumble of passing trains does not disturb events. Bi Nuu programs a wide range of genres including rock, pop, indie, electro, punk, hip-hop, hardcore punk, rap, and singer-songwriter acts, and also hosts club nights, corporate gatherings, conferences, private celebrations, and film shoots. A recurring event is "Rap am Mittwoch." The concert hall spans 221 square meters, with an adjoining 84-square-meter café. Bi Nuu attracts both emerging artists and international acts, and has become a fixture in Berlin's nightlife for indie rock and disco crowds.
