BC Place

BC Place is a multi-purpose stadium in downtown Vancouver, opened in 1983 on the north side of False Creek. Its most distinctive feature is a retractable, cable-supported fabric roof, the largest of its kind in the world, which replaced the original inflatable dome following a CAD$563 million renovation completed in 2011. The stadium hosts major concerts alongside professional football and soccer, and is home to the BC Sports Hall of Fame.
