Yellow Kitchen

Yellow Kitchen was one of the very first pioneers of Korean Indie music explosion around Hongdae area in the late 90's. Originally formed with 4 members, who were 최수환, 도순주, 여운진, 김책, Yellow Kitchen released their first EP as one side of the monumentary compilation album <Our Nation> in 1996 along with Crying Nut. While Crying Nut appealed with its enjoyable neo-punk sound filled with dynamic energy, Yellow Kitchen is said to represent a more aesthetic and serious aspect of the scene.
