Volt9 was born and raised in the centre of the Netherlands and at a very early age he became infected through everything that produced a sound. His parents owned a club at that time and once he got the chance you could find him in the DJ boot playing with the records on Technics sl1200's and the lights. He was mad about a Casio small keyboard (basically a toy) with a 2 seconds sampler option. At the age of 16 he met a friend who was discovering the world of producing electronic dance music.
