THE COMPLETE HISTORY - DIE GANZE GESCHICHTE By the end of the seventies Volkerazzi, born in southern Hessen Seeheim-Jugenheim as Volker Friedrich, began to make music in his hometown Pfungstadt. First in the local dilettantes band „Guru, Gonzo, Fratz, Wulle, Hink & Schpaschel“, then from autumn 1981 also as a soloist under the pseudonym „Die Ichs (The Egos)“, by which he is to be mentioned in the music magazine „sounds“ in the may 1982 edition (quote: „…and Die Ichs (hollow dilettants noise)“).
