Velveteen Shakes is the solo project of Keegan Tunks (Te Whānau-ā-Apanui), a multi-instrumentalist musician & songwriter based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand. He has worked with and supported prominent local acts such as Nesian Mystik, The Black Seeds, & Blindspott, and has performed backing vocals alongside international act Adele.
