Chris Greene has spent many years experimenting with everything from field recordings, guitar ambience, MIDI, distortion pedals, microphone torture,and keyboard melodies. A few years ago, Greene joined Audio Savant founder JWW's band Agalloch on drums and after encouragement from JWW, Greene agreed to allow Audio Savant to unleash The Waking Cold's first outing. The Waking Cold reminds the listener of the glory days of CMI, when BDN, Raison De'tre, and In Slaughter Natives ruled.
