The Vacancies have been described as “exactly what the music industry is missing right now – raw, solid powerful bass lines and riffs combined with lyrics that are infectious, unpretentious and completely relatable.” Catchy melodies, fierce guitars and a driving backbeat give them a sound that is reminiscent and fresh at the same time. The band bring a mix of influences to the writing table, ranging from classic punk/hardcore, 50's rock, 70's glam, reggae and blues to the writing table.
