There are multiple artists that perform under the name 'The Stray' 1. Electro-garage-pop group The Stray formed mid-2005 in Melbourne, Australia by guitarist and songwriter Andy Hazel and model/actress Misty Fox. Keeping the band a two-piece they recorded an demo EP (The Hots For Cold People) in early 2006, gigged heavily, made a filmclip and generated some online hype before Misty returned to Toronto to marry partner Jesse Keeler, of MSTRKRFT, and ex-Death From Above 1979.
