The Penetralia is a promiscuous, perverse, and endlessly permeable collective of artists and musicians, with the only constant members being DJ Thanatos and the Third Mind. The band has swollen to as many as eight members at times. The sounds are complex psychedelic deconstructions and fantasy reconstructions of techno, house and coldwave electro. The Penetralia focuses on live performance; recordings and commodity items such as cassettes and CDs exist only as souvenirs of the live show
