“It's been quite a while since bands like Handsome, Quicksand, and Helmet topped the college radio world with their stop-start, harmonically distorted riffing and gritty, soul-bearing compositions. But outta sight hardly means outta mind, since a whole generation of bands have been influenced by the aforementioned riff rockers. A band like the Elvi (think the plural of "Elvis") has certainly taken inspiration from those bands, as evidenced by the sweaty, clangy, minimally produced Indestructible Suit.
