The Code Kids

In the spring of 2004, vocalist and guitarist Michael Roffman alongside lead guitarist Jay Ziegler started writing songs in a shoe box dorm room with a weak Fender tester amp and a couple pads of paper their freshman year at Florida State University. It wasn't much at the time, but it was the beginning of what would become a long, endless musical experience. Two bands and a couple of albums later, the two decided Tallahassee, FL wasn't so much the land of opportunity as it was a sand trap of epic proportions.
