The Carapace

The Carapace is the freeform electronic music project of Joshua Colella; the producer behind the industrial hardcore project scrap.edx. The project was created in central Connecticut on Joshua's 30th birthday as a means of expressing perceived reality and a vehicle to imprint human experiences through sound. In addition to utilizing heavily processed and manipulated field recordings as the foundation for the project's sonic landscapes, The Carapace also draws from the learned production techniques of IDM
