Tao Jones was an alternative rock and grunge band from Portland, Oregon, USA. They have three releases: self-titled album Tao Jones, first released as a cassette tape in 1992, then re-released as a full-length album in 1994. They also released the single Gone / Made Me Feel Like Aretha Franklin in 1993. They are often compared to bands like Ednaswap.
