Sweeping Promises is an American post-punk duo originally from Boston, Massachusetts, and later based in Lawrence, Kansas. The group consists of Lira Mondal and Caufield Schnug. Multi-instrumentalist Spenser Gralla has performed as their live drummer since 2019. The two musicians met during their undergraduate studies at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, in 2008. They initially participated in various musical projects and later began writing music together exclusively.
