Originally from the Dallas area, Steve Tenpenny began writing songs while attending the University of Texas in Austin; as well as becoming friends with long time bassist James Willis. Through years of writing and continually honing his sound, Westbound Sun (2004) and Live From Texas (2006) represent the continued growth of this young songwriter. Current band members include James Willis bass, Jake Pyeatt guitar, and Luke Ayres drums. The band is currently working on pre-production for thier next studio album.
