Spanakorzo

Spanakorzo were yet another entry into the chaotic noisy hardcore that prevails throughout San Diego. Living out the dream early, i remember finding a copy of their Parasite 7" at the first record store i worked at. I couldn't really pinpoint what i loved about it, but it was brash, whispered vocals leading to the deranged screams of madmen. The song "Ghost Dance" was unlike anything i had heard at the time, completely changing my perception of what hardcore could be and what it was.
