Spacehotel is English solo musician, singer & songwriter Paul Timson who writes, produces & engineers all of Spacehotel's music. Influences include Blur, Depeche Mode, Duran Duran & Mansun A talk with Damon Albarn at a Blur after show party (1995) inspired Timson to continue making music, as he had been since he was a child in the 80s, for the love of it. That night, after explaining he was a musician just starting out, Timson half-jokingly asked Albarn if he had any songwriting tips, Albarn replied with a smile "Just write songs..."
