Silences Sumire - Chicago, IL Fiercely interested in remixing, modern composition, new modes of impovisation, and growth. Both Thomas and Charles began their musical career in the world of jazz based improvisation, performing for years with various composition groups in Chicago's underground venues. Inspired by new forms of electronic music, the duo segued into the worlds of studio production and electronic instruments, forming Silences Sumire in early 2007.
