Shahir is a Malaysian singer, born in Perak, Malaysia, who rose to fame after winning the eighth season of Akademi Fantasia 2010. His first single, Kebahagiaan Dalam Perpisahan was released in his final appearance in season finale. Shahir's winning of the Akademi Fantasia, Season 8 finale concert is the first winning in the history of Akademi Fantasia for the student who formerly been eliminated before and then accepted back to Akademi Fantasia by using the method of AFMASUK.
