Rodion Azarkhin

Rodion Azarkhin was a brilliant virtuoso and one of the greatest bassists of the 20th century. Born in 1931 in Kharkov. He had many of his own arrangements of instrumental pieces as well as rarely performed original compositions for double bass. He was truly amazing and his recordings are difficult to find.
