Rites of the Youth

Rites of the Youth was formed in the beginning of the year 2004. At first the band’s sound was substantially lighter: songs were simpler - more traditional metal pieces. After getting the line-up complete we immediately recorded a demo consisting of five songs. This first demo was downloadable for a short period of time. The ambition for songwriting and playing tighter as a band grew and the material started to develop in to a heavier, aggressive and considerably more technical direction.
