Ridge Racer is an arcade racing video game originally created by Namco in 1993 as a sit down arcade and then ported to the the Playstation in 1994. From there it was then released in 1995 as a USA launch title for Sony's first console. With an upbeat soundtrack comprised of original music, including songs themed around other Namco games, the music has always been a large element of the Ridge Racer series, with older tracks, such as Motor Species
