There are at least five different acts called Pol or POL. 1. POL are German electronic / Krautrock / ambient composers Marcus Schmickler, Carsten Schulz and Christoph Kahse. They have released two albums: Transomuba (1994), on which they mix field recordings, world- and techno music and even some metal, plus a soundtrack to the film 'Baby I Will Make You Sweat' (1995) by Birgit Hein. 2. An electronic music producer since 1991, POL produces a music strongly inspired by EBM from the 80’s and ELECTRO from nowadays
