Parasite Flock, now dead and gone, was a band project of five young enthusiastic boys: Sakari Heikkilä (vocals/guitar), Toni Asp (guitar), Paavo Toiviainen (guitar), Anssi Kinnunen (bass) and Jyri Kaivosoja (drums). The band was active in 2000-2001 during which they threw several gigs in their hometown, Pietarsaari. The band broke up in autumn/winter 2001 mainly because of puberty, but there were also conflicting views on how to develop the band. Also, some band members wanted to focus on other projects.
