Note for a Child

Strong world-music rhythms, subverted dance beats and hooky grooves create a canvas for genre defying and heart breakingly beautiful songs. There is an irresistible marriage between poetry, vocals and atmospheric soundscapes. Note For a Child was formed in 2003 by Daniel Goodman and Susie Beattie who used to meet together once a week on a Tuesday night to have dinner and do some songwriting. Before they had a studio they would sit around the piano with a guitar, a bottle of wine and notebook.
