Mxn (or Muxon) is the solo piano music of Scott Smith from Kansas City, MO. The style is mostly free improvisation, featuring long compositions and wide dynamic shifts. Mxn's music explores the unintentional harmonies formed from random chord progression. Songs typically express classical structure and conventional rhythm, but melodies are unplanned at the time of recording. His first EP, "Mindless" was released independently on last.fm on February 28th 2009.
