Muwop most commonly refers to Marcus Smart, an American drill rapper from Chicago's O'Block neighborhood, or the 2020 hit single "Muwop" by rapper Latto featuring Gucci Mane. He is a prominent figure from Chicago's South Side Parkway Gardens (O'Block) area and was closely affiliated with the late rapper King Von, he began releasing drill rap tracks around late 2020. In January 2024, he was convicted on federal racketeering conspiracy charges. The charges stemmed from his role in the August 2020 daylight murder of rival Chicago rapper FBG Duck.
